Office and Industrial Moving:
Equipped with an array of moving equipment and trained personnel, moving
professional items found in office buildings and institutions alike is
carefully orchestrated and executed by A-1 Moving. By working together
with the customer using a ‘game plan’, floor plans and deadlines, items
are swiftly moved either in-house or building to building on equipment
built for various designed objects. When necessary, 3rd party services
are brought in to assist with items of an extraordinary nature.
Local Moving:
Whether moving articles in-house or across town; A-1 Moving extends its
service to assist the customer, whatever the degree of involvement.
Depending on the nature of the move, most moves are performed on an
‘hourly rate’ providing the customer with the flexibility of controlling
the cost of the move by regulating the time involved.
‘Intra’ State Moving: (in state moving)
Moving services from your home to any location within the State of
Missouri is performed using A-1’s own hauling fleet and personnel. The
moving cost is based on the State's approved MMA Tariff; a publication
of rules, rates and regulations. Depending on the circumstances of your
move, the cost is generally based on the amount of weight being shipped,
miles being transported and any rendered service over and above the
standard loading and unloading (i.e. packing services, piano moving,
elevators, etc.)
‘Inter’ State Moving: (out of state
moving)
Moving services from your home to anywhere in the Continental United
States (CONUS) is performed using a combination of A-1’s own personnel and
exclusively Allied Van Lines approved and registered equipment and trained
drivers. Feeling reassured that no other moving companies are involved
with your move, you will receive entire moving services from the Allied
system. The range of various services provided (i.e. packing, loading,
transporting, unloading, unpacking, etc.) are priced using a variety of
methods. Quotes ranging from options of ‘non-binding’ to ‘fully bound’ can
be obtained based on your individual needs and the pricing guidelines in
place at the time of your move.
International Moving: (Overseas,
including Hawaii and Alaska)
Moving to another country is generally handled by containerizing your
possessions in large wooden vaults or large steam ship containers, and then
shipped via ocean. Typically the cost is based on a combination of weight
and volume combined. Since the cost for overseas shipping fluctuates
daily, quote requests are sent to Allied Van Lines who in turn respond
with the most updated price available. Like moving stateside, your
possessions are heavily wrapped to provide the utmost in protection for
the long journey that awaits. |
